World's Best Holiday Destinations

With the Aussie dollar still riding high in 2010 there has never been a better time to hit the road. Lonely Planet recently named London as the 'best value' destination for Aussies this year. While there are plenty of places that are now better value, many of these places still might not be considered a 'budget' destination. London will never be this, and the USA can still be ruthlessly expensive despite the dollar increase.
Bolivia : Your dollars equal allot of Bolivianos. Probably the cheapest travel in South America and often the most rewarding.
Indonesia : The rupiah has taken a bit of a dive against the Aussie dollar. If you can get out of Bali it's a great time to see the rest of the country as well. Prices for travel around lesser frequented areas will have you spending next to nothing.
India : While sometimes more expensive than people expect you can still spend months in India for very little.
Cambodia : Always popular Cambodia is as much of a bargain as ever. If you can get away from the hordes of other travellers there's lots to enjoy at low prices.
U.S West Coast : The pleasant and warm weather is the major draw for tourists to this region of the country. This is a regular spot for the cruises and you can sight some of the most splendid natural and historic wonders while you are on a visit here. Some of the cities in the west coast including San Diego, Los Angeles, and Seattle have always been strong cruise ports. These are by themselves great tourist attractions that draw a large number of travelers every year. A cruise to this region is sure to leave you spell bound as you take in the breathtaking sights that it has to offer.
Inland waterways : This offers the option to cruise inside North America and you can explore some of the most fascinating cities in the world. Montreal is a port of call for most cruise lines. The city is compared to Paris and it has much of the charm associated with the latter. This is one of the most wonderful urban destinations in North America and you are sure to love exploring the wonderful attractions that it has on offer. Quebec is another city that is in the itinerary of most cruise lines. It is a UNESCO heritage site and has many historical sites on offer for the tourists.
New Zealand : Another extremely popular low-cost destination is the country of New Zealand. With its tremendous vistas and incredible views, New Zealand has experienced something of a renaissance in popularity as more and more people travel to the nation popularised by the Lord of the Ring novels and movies. With amazing scenery, New Zealand makes a fantastic destination for those intending to travel somewhere stunningly beautiful on a budget. Considered to be one of the cheapest holiday destinations, New Zealand has attracted new visitors from around the world on a regular basis for many years.

Dublin Tourist Attractions

Dublin is one of the attractive cities of Ireland. It is the capital of Ireland and it offers something unique to visitors ranging from great shopping streets, museums and unique tourist attractions to great restaurants and lively nightlife.
Dublin Nightlife : Dublin has vibrant, active and lively nightlife. there are many pubs, bars, clubs, operas and cinemas in this city. The Dice bar and the Bailey are the most visited bars in this city during night. Local crowd is really awesome and you will definitely allure with the nightlife of this city.
Transport Information : You can easily explore this beautiful city by sky, air, water and road. You have plenty of options among train, bus, ferries and air. But I would suggest you to take ferry from Liverpool which is the most convenient, comfortable and cheapest means to reach this city. P&O Ferries is the main operator to run this route. If you want to enjoy the scenic beauty of country side then opt for road and train.
On foot. Also known locally as 'Shanks's Pony', a walk around Dublin is a rewarding experience which takes in the city's fine architecture and many sights and sounds. From famous O'Connell Street to the city's cultural area of Temple Bar, stretching one's legs and seeing Dublin while walking is both fascinating and good exercise too. A fine way to burn off some of that Guinness!
The Luas. Dubliners are rightfully proud of the latest development to their transport infrastructure and the Luas is a great way to get around the city. An overground tram launched in 2004 with numerous stops all over the capital, the Luas connects Dublin hotels to all famous landmarks and tourist attractions and is great value to use. Be aware that carriages can get a bit busy with commuters during the morning and evening rush hours, but during the day the Luas is a quick, clean and convenient way to get around the city. Ticket prices are based on a zoning system but a good way to save money is to buy a Luas smart card which can be topped up with credit as and when needed.
