Acknowledged as a World Heritage Site along with the necropoleis in Tarquinia, the Necropoli della Banditaccia, is the best known attraction of Cerveteri. Other attractions of the town include the Rocca (castle), Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, Palazzo Ruspoli, Church of Sant'Antonio Abate, the medieval burgh of Ceri, and Castle of Cerenova.
