Toronto Tourist Attractions

Ontario has many tourist attractions going on at any time of the year. To me there are a few outstanding ones. Those are the attractions you want to come back to every time and show them to your friends from back home. If you have visited those, you have experienced some of the diversity of Ontario.

Toronto, known for being one of the safest cities in the world, is a unique and exciting destination with a dazzling array of experiences for all its visitors. Whether you are into the arts, dining, shopping, commerce or nature, there is sure to be something that would genuinely interest you in this city. A world class city with a diverse flavour, Toronto is defined by landmarks such as the CN Tower and the Art Gallery of Ontario, as well as the scenic nature haven of Lake Ontario nearby.

Tempted to visit the city but are held back by a limited budget? No worries, as the city has a comprehensive range of cheap Toronto hotels especially tailored for you, the budget traveler, whether you prefer to stay in the downtown or outside the city. Saving money on your hotels is a wise idea as there is just so much to see and do in Toronto, which is where you would want to concentrate your spending on.

Consider traveling by Go Transit from Union Station in Downtown Toronto to Niagara Falls. Go Transit provides year round daily service between Toronto and the falls by combination of train and bus, taking about 2 1/4 hours each way and offering several departures every day. During weekends in the summer months they also have a train that goes right through to Niagara Falls, taking about 2 hours.

At the time of writing this the cost of a round trip on Go Transit is $32.30 each for adults. Add $6.00 for a Falls Shuttle Bus Day Pass to ride between the Go Transit terminus at the Via Rail Station and the falls and another $14.50 for the Maid of the Mist boat ride and your total cost is $52.80 per adult. This saves you $26 per adult compared to doing the same trip with a packaged tour.

Wedding locations in Toronto range greatly from five star hotels to beautifully kept parks and gardens. There are numerous country clubs, wedding halls, gardens, parks, conservatories, resorts, banquet halls, churches, restaurants and much more. Many of these parks and gardens along with resorts are meticulously maintained and make great locations to have your wedding and capture life long memories among beautiful scenery.
Hiring a wedding consultant can provide you with lots of information and tips about many of these places and how to go about getting the best experience from them. Knowing the peak seasons and off seasons will make a big difference in your wedding experience. Knowing when to book your reservations and how to coordinate transportation and caterers will also make things less stressful if you have an experienced wedding consultant. For those wishing to keep things simple there is also the option of the Toronto Civic Chambers at Toronto City hall. Toronto City hall is beautiful and unique looking building which is sure to provide for great pictures and memories.
