With the Aussie dollar still riding high in 2010 there has never been a better time to hit the road. Lonely Planet recently named London as the 'best value' destination for Aussies this year. While there are plenty of places that are now better value, many of these places still might not be considered a 'budget' destination. London will never be this, and the USA can still be ruthlessly expensive despite the dollar increase.
Bolivia : Your dollars equal allot of Bolivianos. Probably the cheapest travel in South America and often the most rewarding.
Indonesia : The rupiah has taken a bit of a dive against the Aussie dollar. If you can get out of Bali it's a great time to see the rest of the country as well. Prices for travel around lesser frequented areas will have you spending next to nothing.
India : While sometimes more expensive than people expect you can still spend months in India for very little.
Cambodia : Always popular Cambodia is as much of a bargain as ever. If you can get away from the hordes of other travellers there's lots to enjoy at low prices.

This is a regular spot for the cruises and you can sight some of the most splendid natural and historic wonders while you are on a visit here. Some of the cities in the west coast including San Diego, Los Angeles, and Seattle have always been strong cruise ports. These are by themselves great tourist attractions that draw a large number of travelers every year. A cruise to this region is sure to leave you spell bound as you take in the breathtaking sights that it has to offer.
Inland waterways : This offers the option to cruise inside North America and you can explore some of the most fascinating cities in the world. Montreal is a port of call for most cruise lines. The city is compared to Paris and it has much of the charm associated with the latter. This is one of the most wonderful urban destinations in North America and you are sure to love exploring the wonderful attractions that it has on offer. Quebec is another city that is in the itinerary of most cruise lines. It is a UNESCO heritage site and has many historical sites on offer for the tourists.
New Zealand : Another extremely popular low-cost destination is the country of New Zealand. With its tremendous vistas and incredible views, New Zealand has experienced something of a renaissance in popularity as more and more people travel to the nation popularised by the Lord of the Ring novels and movies.
